PurrrrrrFect

"Animals are reliable, many full of love,

true in their affections, predictable in their actions, grateful and loyal.

Difficult standards for people to live up to
.” ~ Alfred A. Montapert

Why does man have to complicate everything.

Survival means being competitive, if you are a wild animal.

Civilization means to put away ones anger, jealousies,

and fear that someone may get more than they deserve.

Animals can be tamed and domesticated,

how about man??

Remember to do your best to promote

World Peace and Harmony today, act civilized.

Better yet , act like the person your dog thinks you are.

Love, Peace, and Goodwill among men, are not reserved

for seasonal celebrations.

It is nice to have, it is better to share.

If all you have to give today is love and kindness,

you are the richest person in the world.

Adopt the characteristics of your pet,

they have plenty of patience and tolerance for you.

Make your Higher Power the head of your house.

The unseen guest at every meal.

The silent listener to every conversation.

Laugh loudly, love deeply and do your best to make this a

PurrrrrrFect World.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.

Satisfaction

To pay the piper for the mindless actions,

the abuse of the body, and the torment of the soul,

caused by those wrongs we have done.

Satisfaction is the payment of a penance

for the sins we commit.

To the mind that thinks "it's all about me",

the mental hangover is the guilt and shame

caused by being selfish and self centered.

To the body that abuses drugs, alcohol and food

the physical hangover is a warning  of pending doom.

To the soul that must tolerate the mental and physical abuses, the hopelessness feels

like that of one who is adrift in the middle of an ocean on a raft with no sails or rudder.

Forgive yourself and make the changes required to begin a better life.

"It is of practical value to learn to like yourself.
Since you must spend so much time with yourself
you might as well get some satisfaction
out of the relationship."   ~  Norman Vincent Peale

Make restitution to others, one can not have committed mental and physical abuses

on ones self without hurting the family and friends who love us.

Seek atonement from your Higher Power by doing the will of your Higher Power

from now and forever.

Your Higher Power has already forgiven you for all of your trespasses and your abuses.

Yesterday is history, what are you doing for yourself, others and your Higher Power , right now.

"There are some days when I think I'm going to die
from an overdose of satisfaction."                          ~ Salvador Dali

Be kind, satisfaction being paid in advance. Be loving, satisfaction reciprocated.

Be tolerant and patient, repayment of some abuses may take more than day or two.

For those who cannot be satisfied by your efforts to do the next right thing, pray for them.

Be the person your Higher Power wants you to be and know that satisfaction can also

be the fulfillment of a want or need.

When you have peace of mind, improved health, and an ever increasing flow of spiritual energy,

you will have paid the piper.

Happiness is being satisfied.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.

Under That Tree

I just read a post written

(and very well I might add)

by a teacher who wondered about the child

who did not join in with the others during

outdoor recess, but chose to stand under

a lone tree in the yard. The writer attempted

to surmise why one would choose to not

join the others and some of the suppositions

were almost accurate, however, I know the deep seated reason

because I was one who stood under the tree.

There is a minority of people in this world whose brains are on backwards,

"The Kindred Spirits of the Backward Brain," and their minds are always racing

and making unjustified and unwarranted suppositions that were never true, but,

to the backward brain they made sense. No one likes me, I am not good enough,

what if I fail, trip, can't keep up, they'll laugh at me, negative, negative, negative

and the tree understands. The tree does not judge, the tree doesn't care, the tree

provides a perfect place to hide, and the tree and I know the truth.

The truth is that there is a neurological malfunction in the brain that does not permit

the proper transmission or reception of  the chemicals in the brain.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder, Obsessive Compulsive, extrovert, introvert,

to a level where the daily expected routines and social interactions are disrupted.

The addictive personality, I'll show you, I'll kill myself with posion, alcohol, drugs,

food, work, sex, or any other form of instant gratification that comes down the pike

is the usual pathway that the troubled mind follows.

One is to many and a thousand are never enough.

They isolate, but when the do join in it is the bizarre, the occult, the shock value to

the norm that helps their infiority complex justify its existence.

Let us all get peircings, tattoos, wear black and pretend that we are all different

while all the time we are screaming for inclusion into this world,

knowing we can't see the forest for the tree.

Science and medicine are daily finding out more on how the brain functions, which

areas of the brain control which survival functions, pleasure centers, eating triggers,

aging and which chromosones  will genetically predisposition  one to become a part

of the lost ten percent, the kindred spirits of the backward brain.

Love, patience, tolerance, forgiveness and a willingness to look past the tree

have allowed many of the lost to find their way, however, anger and hate are

still a part of our DNA and much more needs to be studied until a true cure is found.

Today, do your part to put the fun in dys"FUN"ction, hug a tree.

Free

. Such a

small word

yet it has

so many degrees

of meaning

that we can

become a slave

to its definition.

.

.

What is free. ???

Who is free. ???

Where does free come from.???

Without other people teaching us we cannot learn what free is.

Without the freedom to go to other places we would have nothing

to compare our lives to.

Without the giving and taking of things we would never learn

the value of what free is.

No person is an island.

No person is free of conscious.

No person is free from having to make choices.

Free is not having a negative feeling,

even though most negative feelings are freely given.

Free is not being a slave to an addictive substance or behavior.

By being obligated to doing the next right thing,

we free ourselves to enjoy life.

Free is a responsibility to make the right choice.

Free is to allow ourselves to make a choice

that will permit us to do the will of a Higher Power.

"I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free."

~ Michelangelo

Free is using our God given talents to make the world a better place to live.

It is free to show kindness.

It is free to be patient and tolerant.

It is free to forgive.

It is free to show love

It is free to be the person God wants us to be.

Use your free choice to be better than what is expected.

If your life is free of failures, you're not taking enough risks.

Today, decide for yourself, make a choice, think about free

and make it work for you.

Today, free yourself from negative feelings and bad habits.

Today, make a gratitude list and thank your Higher Power

for all the people, places and things that are free in your life..

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.

Love is helping someone love themselves.

Life is living and loving in the here and now.

Compass

.
.

May your

moral compass

always point

towards

Happiness.

.

.

.

"Conscience is a man's compass."        ~ Vincent Van Gogh

Check the map of your life, your moral conscious and if you consciously
seek happiness today, you will find it. Have an attitude of gratitude.

Thank your Higher Power for giving you another day to celebrate living
a life of service. Happiness is looking for the things in life that are pleasing.
If your compass is upside down you will find trouble. Look for the negative
and you will find it. Dwell on the negative and you will be miserable.
Live in today, the here and now, and do your best to keep your compass
right side up. Do not know where your compass is, look inside of yourself.

If you do not know which way your compass is pointing, ask a friend.
Keep life a simple matter, check your moral compass on an as needed basis,
and make sure it is always pointed towards the better things for everyone.
Lying, cheating and stealing only complicate ones life.
Do not rely solely on your thinking, sometimes your best thinking
is what may put you in harms way.

Learn to rely on your feelings and be aware of when your compass
may be out of alignment with the will of your Higher Power.
When you know in your heart that this is the best you can do,
be happy and enjoy.

Live up to your expectations for yourself, not the expectations
others may have for you.

Compasses never need fixing.

You are lying if you say your compass is broken, you are cheating if you hold
your finger on the needed and do not feel what is in your heart, you are stealing
when you try to manipulate the compass of another person.

God has given everyone a compass; learn to use your compass often and wisely.
Share your compass with others until they learn how to read their own.
Do not try to be the compass of another person, unless they ask,
or the judge request that you sit on the jury.

God is His own judge and jury; He does not need your help.

Keep your compass clean so you may see it clearly.
Avoid the dark when it becomes impossible to see your compass.

Today, may all of your compass points be good feelings of happiness,
kindness, patience and tolerance, love and understanding, and willingness
to do the next right thing.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves
