You Are Worthy

.

There

is a

simple

formula

to being

worthy.

First: one must believe that you are worth something,

and in the eyes of your Higher Power there is no one

on this Earth who is more worthy than you.

The next step in the formula is to understand that

your worth is measured in direct proportion to how

well you do the will of Your Higher Power.

Now simply combine the first two,

mix together your healthy dose of self esteem,

together with the willingness to do the next right thing,

and you will be worthy.

Some men dream of worthy accomplishments,

while others stay awake and do them.

Do well today, sleep well tonight.

It is nice when others recognize your worth,

but true generosity is to love and give without

expecting to be rewarded or being noticed.

Do not listen to those who are jealous of your worth.

"Ridicule has always been the enemy of enthusiasm,
and the only worthy opponent to ridicule is success."    ~ Oliver Goldsmith

Worthiness is success collected together from many

small acts of kindness.

Being worthy today does not guarantee that

tomorrow you will automatically be worthy.

The formula for worthiness is a daily reprieve based

on your spiritual condition.

Today you must ask (pray) for guidance from

your Higher Power and make a conscious effort

to do the next right thing.

Believe that some of the right choices we have to make

do not appear to be at all that pleasant.

Your Higher Power may give you the choice today

of having to demonstrate tough love.

It is always a very difficult decision to let go of someone

who is drowning in their own sickness.

It is better to let go and keep your self worth and your sanity,

so that you may continue to help yourself

and those who are worthy.

God helps those who want to help themselves.

You are worthy, but you are not God.

"We do not believe in ourselves
until someone reveals that deep inside us
something is valuable,
worth listening to,
worthy of our trust,
sacred to our touch.
Once we believe in ourselves
we can risk curiosity, wonder,
spontaneous delight or any experience
that reveals the human spirit."     ~ e. e. cummings

Your spirit is worthy.

Do not be so modest that when someone says thank you

for a kindness, you cannot accept and believe your own worth.

God, allow us to laugh and love,

but never to forget that we have cried.

Be grateful, build on yesterdays formula for creating

self worth to make this the most valuable day of your life.

Happiness is helping someone help themselves.
